Pick Up in Bulawayo and Road Transfer to Gonarezhou National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel in Bulawayo at approximately 7:00 am by your guide and transferred by road to Gonarezhou National Park. Once you are checked in at the entrance gate, we will drive to our remote exclusive bush camp. We will arrive at camp late in the afternoon.

Explore Gonarezhou National Park

You'll get up early and after a light breakfast, we'll head off with your guide for a full day of exploring by foot and by vehicle in the park. You can stay out all day or return to the camp for lunch. Your guide will make sure you have the best options for a great trip. We are close to the Chilojo cliffs and camped near the Rundi River. The scenery here is fantastic. The wildlife viewing is also outstanding.

Explore Gonarezhou National Park

You'll get up early and after a light breakfast, we'll head off with your guide for a short exploration of the area. It may be in the vehicle or on foot. We'll break camp and then move to our next location and arrive at around lunchtime. We will have time this afternoon for an activity.

Explore Gonarezhou National Park

You'll get up early and after a light breakfast, we will head off with your guide for a full day of exploring. We are in a new area where we can access all the highlights such as Machiniwa pan, Tembwehata pan and always close to the Rundi River. We will use our game-viewing vehicle to explore the area and we'll also go for walks to have a closer look at what nature has to offer.

Gonarezhou National Park

We will have another full day of exploring this enormous park. We really need many more days to explore all that there is to see but we make do with what we have. This park is well known for its large herds of elephants. The large mammal diversity is very good. Birdlife is prolific and diverse. If you want to add on more days, we can make this much longer. Other areas nearby include Gt. Zimbabwe ruins and Matobo National Park.

Gonarezhou to Bulawayo

We'll have to break camp early and start our journey back to Bulawayo. There are other areas of interest along the way like the Gt. Zimbabwe ruins and Matobo National Park. We'll arrive back in Bulawayo late in the afternoon and you will be dropped off at a city hotel of your choice.
