1-Day Mokoro Safari - Private Tour

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Depending on the water level, you will board the boat near Audi Camp at 7:00 am and head along the Boro Channel on a motor boat to Boro Mokoro Station. Here you'll be met by your boatman, known as Poler. The mokoro is ideally suited as transport in the delta as you'll move quietly through shallow waters.

We will visit the Eastern delta in a community-controlled wilderness area. We work with some of the most experienced Polers, who have mastered the channels and are astute in co-existing with aquatic wildlife. It is truly a great soothing experience. Besides being very close to the Delta’s tranquillity, you'll get to learn a lot about this amazing ecosystem called the Okavango Delta. We will set up a lunch picnic on an island to enjoy breathtaking views.

After this once-in-a-lifetime experience, you will head back to the Mokoro Station where your engine-powered boat will pick you up for a trip to Audi Camp to arrive before sunset. Alternatively, you will be picked up by car.
