Masai Mara Game Reserve
On this day we plan that we spend a full day in the Mara Reserve. Therefore instead of early morning game drive at 0630hrs, we shall depart at 0800hrs after breakfast and we shall carry our picnic lunch boxes.
For the rest of the mid-morning and early afternoon we shall spend in the reserve where virtually every other wildlife can be seen but not without searching for the elusive ones like the Leopard.
During the wildebeest migration season, the attraction at this time of the year however is the annual wildebeest migration itself. The animals are seen in great numbers on the plains but we shall be looking for the dramatic crossing happening at River Mara where they are preyed on by the crocodiles. This is the most spectacular event to behold. You must not miss your cameras to record this amazing sight that is now been identified as one of the Wonders of the World.
In the afternoon we shall drive back to the Lodge for freshening up. You will have dinner and rest of evening at leisure.
