Scenic Drive from Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and begin your safari with a scenic drive to the Masai Mara, traveling through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley, with a stop at a viewpoint for panoramic photos. The Masai Mara, located in southwest Kenya, is one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves and part of the famous Serengeti–Mara ecosystem, renowned for exceptional Big Five sightings and the annual Great Wildebeest Migration (July–October).

Arrive in the Masai Mara around midday and proceed to Zebra Plains Mara Camp for check-in and a hot lunch. After a short rest, head out for your first afternoon game drive, exploring the vast savannahs in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, leopards, and other plains wildlife.

Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay, enjoying the sounds of the African wilderness under the stars.

Masai Mara Big Five Safari

After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations. Accompanied by an experienced safari guide, you’ll explore different regions of the reserve in search of iconic wildlife including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and other plains game.

After an early breakfast at your camp, you will depart the Masai Mara National Reserve and begin a scenic drive back to Nairobi, marking the final leg of your unforgettable safari experience. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you travel through the rolling plains and rural countryside, with opportunities to stop briefly for refreshments and photo moments along the way.

Upon arrival in Nairobi in the late afternoon, you will be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your homebound flight or at your city hotel, depending on your preference.
