Situated in southwest Kenya, the Masai Mara is one of Africa’s greatest game reserves. It forms part of the greater Serengeti ecosystem, creating one of the world’s finest big-game viewing areas. It is also world-renowned for the Great Migration; millions of wildebeest and zebra cross the plains between July and October in one of nature’s most dramatic spectacles.

After an early breakfast, depart the Masai Mara with Across the Wild Safaris and begin an unforgettable cross-border journey from Kenya into Tanzania, following the legendary wildebeest migration route. Travel through the remote northern plains, an area renowned for dramatic river crossings and intense predator activity during migration season.

Enter Tanzania and continue into the Northern Serengeti, one of the most wildlife-rich and less-crowded regions of the park. This area offers exceptional game viewing year-round, with vast herds of wildebeest and zebra often accompanied by lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas.

Arrive at Moyo Migration Camp in time for lunch and check-in.
