As soon as you land, Discovery Transfer and Tours will pick you up from the Hosea Kutako International Airport. The airport is 45 km outside Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia. It has been a long journey. You will be dropped off at Discovery Guest House. After you have rested, a free township tour will be arranged for the afternoon. Dinner will be at your own expense at the restaurant of your choice.

We will pick you up from your hotel or guesthouse between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. and depart at 9:00 a.m. You will travel through the Kalahari Desert, stopping at small towns along the way including Rehoboth, which is a town in central Namibia just north of the Tropic of Capricorn. Located 90 km south of the Namibian capital Windhoek. Rehoboth is the traditional home of the Baster people. Later in the afternoon, you will check-in at the hotel in Keetmanshop and rest for the day.

This morning, you will continue your journey to the Fish River Canyon, the second-largest Canyon in the world. On the way just outside the town, you will have the opportunity to visit the Mesosaurus Fossil Site. Here you have the opportunity to see the Quiver tree. Quiver trees are the world's rarest flora species. Next on your agenda is the mighty Fish River Canyon. The Canyon landscape and views are amazing. This will be the ideal opportunity for memorable photos during your excursion.

This morning (optional), you will head to the main viewpoint where you can see how impressive this canyon actually is. This is an ideal opportunity for photos and to spend some time experiencing this amazing sight. Afterward, your next destination is Lüderitz, a coastal town in southwestern Namibia. It’s known for its German colonial buildings. Along the way, you will pass through small towns. Depending on the day, you might spot some desert horses. We aim to arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon. Dinner will be at your own expense tonight.

Today after breakfast, you will have time to join optional excursions such as boat cruises and many others. These activities are subject to availability and are at your own expense. Your tour continues to Diaz Point to see birds and seals. Straight after the marine trip, you will drive out to Kolmanskop, a desert ghost town about 20 km out of Lüderitz. It was built in the 1920s during the diamond rush and was abandoned when bigger and better diamonds were found further along the coast. The area is still abandoned and the desert has encroached over the entire town, giving an eerie feeling and real meaning to the word “ghost”. Your overnight stay will be at Aus. The settlement is small but has a number of amenities including a hotel, police station, shop, and garage. It is located in the Aus Mountains above the plains of the Namib Desert. The climate is usually hot and arid but the snow was recorded in winter in 1963, and the area features the coldest winters recorded in Namibia.

This morning after breakfast. You will proceed on your journey to Sossusvlei, traveling on a dusty road and passing through small rural communities along the way. You will arrive at the lodge or campsite in the afternoon. This time is extremely hot, so we recommend that you spend the day cooling off by the pool. Early rest is required as tomorrow you are expected to wake early in the morning.

Early in the morning, you will visit the Sesriem Gate to the remarkable Sossusvlei. You will start off by climbing picturesque Dune 45, experiencing the beauty and vastness of the orange-colored landscape. You will drive off-road to the Dead Vlei, a place of the vast desert pan where dried-up, ancient acacias stand silently in the impressive, open-air gallery. If you have enough energy, you can climb one of the highest dunes on Earth, the ‚Big Daddy ‘or ‚Big Mama. After the morning excursion, you will return back to Sesriem for lunch. You will take a break for 1-2 hours. Once the heat subsides, you will take a short excursion to Sesriem Canyon. This will be your last activity for the day.

Namibia is a country of contrasts. Today, you will move from desert to sea. On your way, you will cross the Tropic of Capricorn and traverse the Gaub, and the Kuiseb passes, driving down to the dry river bed at the bottom of the Kuiseb Canyon before climbing up the other side and watching the spectacular desert landscape unfold before you. Having arrived at the coast, you will make a stop in Walvis Bay to enjoy the view of flamingos and other birds in the lagoons. You will take a short break for lunch. Your overnight stay will be in Swakopmund. Dinner tonight is at your own expense in a local restaurant.

You will explore the quaint town of Swakopmund. You may wish to book an optional day tour (for your own account) in Swakopmund (guided tour through the Mondesa township, quad-biking, sand-boarding, a scenic flight over the Skeleton coast, or a catamaran cruise in Walvis Bay). Many optional activities are on offer (at your own account); visit the aquarium, various museums, or the crystal gallery.

In the morning, you will depart from the coastal town of Swakopmund to Cape Cross and Cape Fur Seal colony. After visiting the seals, you will turn east into the desert, towards Brandberg Damaraland, one of the most magnificent and majestic places in Namibia. In this area, you can find elephants, giraffes, ostriches, and a variety of antelopes! Optional activities such as visiting the museum, Damara Culture, and Petrified Forrest are on the card. These activities can be conducted on the same day of arrival or the following morning before departing to Opuwo.

After breakfast, you will proceed further to Opuwo, the capital of the Kunene Region in northwestern Namibia. The town is situated about 720 km north-northwest of the capital Windhoek. Opuwo is the town where you will find the Himba People. They are semi-nomadic, pastoral people who breed cattle and goats. Traditionally Himba women tend to perform more labor-intensive work than men do, such as carrying water to the village, building homes, and milking cows. Men handle political tasks and legal trials. Their homes are simple, cone-shaped structures of saplings, bound together with palm leaves, mud, and dung. Interestingly, in the Himba culture, a sign of wealth is not the beauty or quality of a tombstone, but rather the cattle you had owned during your lifetime. You will check in at our lodge/guest house and rest for the day.

After breakfast in the morning, you will travel through northern Kaokoveld to the Epupa Falls for a day visit. Epupa Falls is one of the most spectacular and picturesque regions in Namibia. The landscape in this region varies but is mostly mountainous. It is in this region where you find Ovahimba People the most. Kunene River is one of the perennial rivers in Namibia. This river has been and still is the main water source for the Himba People for years. You will visit the Himba people before returning back to your lodge.

After breakfast, you will depart Opuwo and drive to Etosha National Park. You will pass through small villages along the way to Etosha. You are expected to arrive in Etosha in the afternoon. You will drive through some parts of the national park in search of various games. You will be at your respective accommodations just before sunset. Dinner will sum up the adventure and rest will be required so that you can be able to wake up early and fresh for the full-day game drive tomorrow.

An early rise will be encouraged to have a feel of nature and the fresh breeze. Soon after breakfast, you will start your game drive to allow you to have a magnificent exploration. You will visit the waterholes. You will get to visit the Etosha pan (salt pan) before game driving across the park in the expedition of coming across the Big 4 and other animal species. A light lunch will allow you to rest, gathering energy for your next adventure. After a short relaxation, you will then visit your last waterhole which will be the last appreciation of Namibia’s beauty. Before sunset, you will be back to your accommodation place so that you can have dinner as you share stories of your experiences of the day and also share and compare beautiful photos.

Today after breakfast. You are going to visit Bushmen's Land and Hoba Meteor. The main mass of the Meteor is estimated at more than 60 tonnes. It is the largest known intact meteorite as a single piece. It is also the most massive naturally occurring piece of iron known on Earth's surface. The name "Hoba" comes from the Khoekhoegowab word meaning "gift". The San or Saan people, also known as the "Bushmen", are members of various Khoisan-speaking indigenous hunter-gatherer groups that are the first nations of Southern Africa, and whose territories span Botswana, Namibia, Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, and South Africa. You will learn more about their way of life, traditions, and cultural dances.

Today early after breakfast, you will drive to the Mahango Game Park, also known as the Mahango Game Reserve. This park is situated at the country's eastern border with Botswana in the flood plains of the Okavango River basin, close to the Popa Falls on the river. The Caprivi Strip encloses the western part of the park. It is in this park where you find Baobabs trees, elephants, buffalos, sable and roan antelope, Chombe bushbucks, reedbuck, and many more.

Today your journey takes you to Okavango Delta. The Okavango Delta is a vast inland river delta in northern Botswana. It's known for its sprawling grassy plains, which flood seasonally, becoming a lush animal habitat. You will cross the border into Botswana and continue through small villages and towns. Botswana is open and vast with a lot of roaming animals alongside the road. You will arrive at our lodge/camp in the afternoon. Time to relax, have a drink and spend some time on your own. You might see some crocodiles around here.

Today, you will spend most of the day on the canoe traditionally known as a mokoro. This is a type of canoe commonly used in the Okavango Delta, Botswana. It is propelled through the shallow waters of the delta by standing in the stern and pushing with a pole, in the same manner as punting. The mokoro or makoro - (mekoro, plural), is a traditional canoe-like vessel commonly used in the Okavango Delta as a popular mode of transport, and now utilized for game viewing safaris.

Leaving Botswana and returning to Namibia. You will drive back to the Mahango Game Reserve. You will have another chance to spot some wild animals. You will continue your journey along the Caprivi Strip Namibia, stopping through small villages and interacting with the local people to learn more about their culture and heritage.

Today after breakfast. You will continue your journey through Katima Mulilo. You will stop here to buy water and other provisions before proceeding to Botswana/Chobe River. In the afternoon, you will take a boat cruise on the river. Chobe National Park has the world’s largest population of African elephants and a large number of buffalos. During the boat cruise, there is a high possibility of seeing, hippos, crocodiles, and others.

Chobe National Park, located in the north of Botswana, is an iconic safari destination. It is one of the most accessible and most visited safari areas in Botswana. Chobe is famous for its high numbers of elephant and Cape buffalos which can be viewed in their droves along the Chobe River. In the morning, you will concentrate on the game drive in Chobe National Park until lunchtime. Those who wish to do a boat tour or extra game drive can do so at their own cost.

Victoria Falls is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and the major waterfall on the Zambezi River in Africa. It is famous for being the largest waterfall in the world. The African people who live around the falls call it Mosi-oa-Tunya which means "smoke that thunders". After checking in at the hotel, you will visit the Mighty Victoria Falls. There are many optional activities that you can do, including bungee jumping, rafting, helicopter flight, devil pool, and many others. The guide will be able to arrange these activities for you. These activities are subject to availability and conducted at your own cost and risk.
