Arrival in Kampala

You will be welcomed by our driver-guide at the Entebbe International Airport to Kampala Acactus Hotel or any other accommodation of your choice around Kampala. After taking a short break, the guide will take around the Kampala for a city tour to visit the historical and cultural sites. These may include the Uganda parliamentary building, Kabaka’s palace, Kabaka man-made lake, Uganda museum, Kasubi tombs, Religious cathedrals, Bahai Temple, among others, before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Transfer from Kampala to Gulu

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Gulu town for an overnight stay. Amidst the journey, you will take a break to track rhinos at the Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch located in Nakasongola district. You will have lunch here before proceeding with your journey to the Northern capital, Gulu city. You will have a night in this city. Then early in the morning, you'll proceed to Kidepo Valley National Park.

Transfer from Gulu to Kidepo Valleny National Park

After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Kidepo Valley National Park, where you are expected to arrive in the afternoon. Immediately after lunch, you will head out for an afternoon game drive to see animals like zebras, giraffes, caracal, lesser kudu, mountain reedbuck, among others. You'll thereafter return to your accommodation for a night's rest to get ready for the following full day's action.

Game Drive in Kidepo Valley National Park(Full-day)

Transverse by large sand rivers, Kidepo Valley National Park is renowned for its distinctive composition of wild game co-existing with the dry mountain forests, open savannah that is home to over 77 mammal species and almost 500 birds. As a result, the variety of animal species in the park is equally abundant, including many that are found nowhere else in Uganda. Therefore, on day four, you will spot as many animal and bird species as possible during game drives around the park for the whole day, including the rare/ endemic ones that are nowhere else in Uganda, such as the cheetah.

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

In the morning, you will embark on the journey to Murchison Falls National Park, currently the most visited park in Uganda. On arrival, you will do a game drive in the evening. A game drive around the Buligi game tracks on the northern bank is a fantastic way to see lots of wildlife and photograph a wide range of animals in the Nile Valley, like lions, hyenas, elephants, giraffes, and leopards.

Morning Game Drive, Boat Cruise and Top of the Falls

After breakfast in the morning, you will head out for a morning game drive to see what you might have missed in the last evening game drive. This game drive will go on for four full hours before you go for lunch break. After lunch, you will head for the launch cruise to the base of the falls. While on the boat trip, you will see lots of wild animals along the banks and lots of birds. From this point, you will hike to the top of the Murchison Falls to feel and witness the world’s strongest falls. The top of the falls allows you to have as many beautiful pictures as you like.

Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe
