3-Day Mkomazi (Rhino-Sanctuary)& Kilimanjaro Hike

Kimanjaro Hike -Marangu Route

You will walk for about 3-4 hours to the first hut (Mandara hut). You will arrive there in the afternoon. Lunch will be served when you reach the hut. From the hut, you have a great view over Moshi district. 1400 Hours: After your lunch, your guide will take you on a short walk to Maundi Crater before walking down to Marangu Gate. You will walk down to Marangu Gate, and this walk will take you about 2 hours, walking slowly as you observe for anything that you might have missed on your way up.4:00 pm: At Marangu National Park, you will meet with transport from the hotel, ready to take you back to the lodge. 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm: You return to your hotel.

Mkomazi National Park

Your wildlife viewing in Ruaha National Park starts with a full day of safari, starting with a sunrise game drive, breakfast in the bush, then driving until lunch at the camp. The wildlife viewing will concentrate on the great Ruaha Riverbank, Mwagusi Sand River, and Mdonya River, ending with a sunset wilderness game drive to sunset, dinner, and an overnight stay at Camp/Lodge.

Mkomazi National Park -Moshi

You have breakfast, then depart for the Rhino Sanctuary tour, where you will get the chance to watch this strong and endangered creature at close range. The rhinos are restricted to a fenced area of 55 square kilometers inside the park. This is the only rhino sanctuary in the country with 13 individual black rhinos, which you can see more easily than those that move freely in the wilderness, like in Ngorongoro and Serengeti National Park. In the afternoon, you return to the camp for lunch. After lunch, you pack your luggage, ready to depart back to Moshi or Kilimanjaro Airport.
