Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from your hotel at 07h30 and driven to the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will have a short stopover at the viewpoint before proceeding to Narok and then to the Enkorok Mara Camp for lunch.

The Masai Mara is Kenya's finest and most outstanding wildlife sanctuary, where gentle rolling grassland ensures animals are never out of sight. The climate is gentle, rarely too hot, and the rainfall is well spread year-round. The sensation of the great wildebeest migration between July and October is unparalleled. The wildlife is far from being confined within the reserve boundaries, and an even larger area extends beyond the game reserve.

After lunch, explore the reserve on an afternoon game drive. No matter how much you have thought about Africa, this is more than you expected. The Big Five (lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and Cape buffalo) are in abundance. You will spend the night at Enkorok Mara Camp or similar.

Today, you will spend time in the vast ecosystem of the Mara searching for the Big Five and much more. You can also opt for a balloon safari, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Once you are up, you won’t want to come down, and once you land, a champagne breakfast awaits you. Game viewing is great from the air with the opportunity for beautiful pictures.

The annual wildebeest migration is expected in the Masai Mara between July and early November. Millions of animals migrate to the Mara from the Serengeti in search of fresh green pastures and water. It’s worth noting that every game drive is different, and missing one is missing out on the fun.

You can opt for a Maasai village visit; otherwise, enjoy an early morning breakfast, then drive to Nairobi with lunch in Narok. You will arrive in Nairobi in the early evening, where you will be dropped off at the hotel with the best memories.
