Arrive in Kasane & Transfer to Chobe National Park

You'll arrive at Botswana's Kasane Airport and transfer to Chobe Game Lodge, the only permanent game lodge situated within the famous Chobe National Park. The park is known for its large herds of elephants and Cape buffalo, which converge along the Chobe Riverfront in the dry months. Lions, antelopes and hippos inhabit the woods and lagoons around Linyanti Marsh and the floodable grasslands of the Savuti Marsh attract numerous bird species, plus migrating zebras.

Activities from Chobe Game Lodge include morning and evening game drives, as well as boat cruises and boat safaris. In the heat of the day, relax by the pool or enjoying a pampering session at the in-lodge spa.

Transfer to Okavango Delta

Today, you'll take a shared road transfer back to Kasane Airport. You'll then take a light aircraft flight for around an hour to reach Xakanaxa Airstrip, from which you'll transfer to Camp Moremi. Camp Moremi is located within Botswana’s world-renowned Moremi Game Reserve, situated on the edge of the Xakanaxa Lagoon. It's an area known for its spectacular game-viewing opportunities.

Here, you can enjoy daily morning and evening game drives, as well as boat excursions. Look out for leopards lazing on tree branches, herds of elephants drinking at the water's edge and lions hidden in the long grass. The rich wetlands of Moremi Game Reserve are home to impala, kudu and waterbuck. You'll also notice the colourful array of bird species which call the Okavango Delta home, such as the majestic fish eagle, vivid malachite kingfisher and perhaps even a rare Pel’s fishing owl.
