Arusha Town to Central Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at 7 am, you'll be picked up at 8 am from your accommodation and have a 6-hour (335km) drive to the central part of Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro gate. You'll start the game drive and explore the Seronera Valley.
The Maasai word “Serengit” means the land of "endless plains." The Central area has an endless plain with savannah grassland, providing a wide area for wildebeest, zebra, Coke’s hartebeest, waterbuck, Grant’s and Thomson gazelle, and impala to graze throughout the year. In the Seronera Valley, there is dotted acacia vegetation, which appears in group-like structures known as kopjes, which provides a good vantage for predators to spot their prey and a refuge for hyrax, pythons and reptiles such as lizards. African leopards are commonly seen.
Have lunch at the picnic site and continue the game drive until the evening, when you head to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Have an early breakfast at the lodge, then head to the Mara to witness the migration. This offers excellent scenery, spotting animals crossing the river. The area stretches from the Lobo hills southwards to Seronera with green rolling hills, which is a pleasant diversion. It is a good area for elephants, lions, cheetahs, bat-eared foxes, and servals. You will do game drives around the area for the whole day.
Have lunch at the picnic site, and soon after lunch, you'll proceed with the game drive until late evening, when you'll head to your lodge.
