Mjejane River Lodge - Crocodile River - Greater Kruger National Park

Depart from Johannesburg with other Kruger travelers in the mini-bus leaving at 7.00 am (upgrade to a private transfer on request). The 5 hour journey follows the road from the cool high plateau and descends over 1,500 meters to the warm subtropical lowlands where the Kruger Park is situated. The shuttle stops in Nelspruit where you are met by a Mmilo Tours representative and transferred to Mjejane Lodge in time for lunch. Travellers from Cape Town are met at Nelspruit airport off the flight arriving at 12.50pm.

The world-renowned Greater Kruger National Park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa. After lunch and some relaxation time, you will embark on your first 3-hour open safari vehicle sunset game drive on the Mjejane Reserve. You will be accompanied by a skilled wildlife ranger, an expert at finding Africa’s “Big 5” and all the other iconic animals. Dinner is served on your return. Mjejane assures you of a fantastic wildlife experience.

On Safari - Mjejane Private Game Reserve - Fully absorbed into the Kruger National Park

An early wake-up call signals another exciting day in Africa, and after morning coffee, you head out into the bush on another 3-hour safari on the Mjejane Reserve, returning for breakfast at the lodge.

Greater Kruger is home to an impressive number of species: 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals. The world-renowned Kruger National Park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa.

After lunch and a rest, you depart on the late afternoon/sunset safari on the Mjejane Reserve, followed by dinner. Take some time before retiring to admire the African sky at night and listen to hippos grunting in the river and other sounds of the wilderness around you.

End of Safari

After your morning safari drive on the Mjejane Reserve and breakfast, a Mmilo Tours representative will transfer you to Nelspruit in time for the shared shuttle back to Johannesburg. You have the option of being transferred to Nelspruit Airport (MQP) for an onward flight to your next destination. Flights from Nelspruit depart to Cape Town, Victoria Falls and Vilanculos in Mozambique.

Children are welcome at Mjejane. Children aged 6 to 11 years old, will pay the published child rate when sharing with two full-paying adults or occupying an inter-leading room with another child. Children aged 12 and up will pay the full adult rate. The full adult rate is applicable if occupying their own room or if sharing with one full paying adult. Children are permitted on all safaris at the management's discretion. Children under the age of 6 are not permitted on the game drives.
