Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by our representative, who will escort you to our office in Arusha for a brief safari briefing. During this briefing, we will provide valuable tips and information to enhance your safari experience. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to ask any questions or address any concerns you may have before the commencement of your safari. Afterward, you will proceed to the lodge for evening leisure, dinner, and overnight.

Day 2

Our representative will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Materuni Village for a day of activities. The drive from your hotel to Materuni Village is about 2hrs. The possibilities of taking great pictures of Mt. Kilimanjaro summits are limitless! Upon arrival at the village, you will depart for the hiking adventure to the waterfalls that take about 45min-1hr one way. After the hike, you will return to the village for a delicious hot local lunch before embarking for a coffee plantation tour that will allow you to learn about the coffee that we produce in Tanzania, which is Arabica coffee. Part of the coffee experience is cooking the coffee in an outdoor fire, pound it in a wooden vessel and finally make a cup of coffee for yourself.
After a rewarding day at Materuni Waterfalls, you will drive back to your lodging for evening leisure, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara for a biking or walking safari, an immersive way to explore the African bush, discover wildlife tracks, enjoy the scenery, and experience local life and cuisine. Alternatively, visit a Maasai community to learn about their traditions, explore their manyattas, meet local families, and, if available, take part in activities such as beadwork, building, or traditional singing and dancing.
After lunch, you will embark on a game drive in Manyara National Park. This parkear-round because of its underground water sources. Its verdant landscape attracts hundreds of spectacular varieties of migratory and wetland birds, including Flamingos, flying overhead. Manyara's natural habitat also includes large troops of baboons, velvet & blue monkeys, hippos, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, and many more. After a rewarding day, you will proceed to your lodging in Karatu for evening leisure, dinner, and overnight.

Following an early breakfast, you will depart with your packed lunch for a game viewing excursion on the crater floor at Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is the world's largest volcano caldera, formed approximately three million years ago. It is widely regarded as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and is considered one of Africa's most remarkable geological sites.
The crater boasts a unique ecosystem that is home to over 25,000 resident animals. In the grass steppes and acacia forest, one can observe nearly every animal species that inhabits the East African savanna, including the "Big Five" (rhino, elephant, Cape buffalo, lion, leopard).
Later on, you will return to your lodging for evening leisure, dinner and overnight.

Around 5am, you will leave the lodge with a packed breakfast to meet Hadzabe the Bushmen. Hadzabe are the last hunters and gatherers society in Africa. You will participate in their early mornings' interactive activities including bush trek for hunting, honey gathering, fruit collecting etc.
Later on, you will see the Datoga people. Datoga are traditional pastoralists, cattle are the Datoga’s most important domestic animal. Similar to the Maasai, they eat meat and depend on milk products. They have also adapted to an agrarian way of life and farm plots of maize, beans, and millet. You will visit Datoga blacks smith, who have separated, lived, and married independently for over decades. Their main activities are forging knives, arrowheads, and jewelry for the greater Datoga tribe and for the Bushmen. In the afternoon, you will return to your lodge for hot lunch, leisure day, dinner and overnight.

After a heartly breakfast at your lodge, you will depart with packed lunch to Central Serengeti via Ngorongoro Highlands with stunning landscape.
Central Serengeti offers everyday opportunity to spot Tanzania’s most impressive wildlife. Seronera River Valley is a ‘must see’ game area on each safari to Serengeti regardless. This area is dominated by an incredible number of resident wildlife including the “Big Five”.
Your day is dedicated to see the best of Serengeti wildlife activities with its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eyes can see.; arrive at the lodge for evening leisure, dinner and overnight.

Your entire day is dedicated to seeing the very best of Serengeti. Mornings and evenings are the best for game viewing.
You will descend into the heart of wild Africa-the Serengeti national park-with its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eyes can see. You will head to the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River that provides a valuable water source to this zone and hence attracts wildlife representative of most of the Serengeti’s species including lions, cheetahs, elephants, leopards, giraffes, a great number of hippos and abundant birdlife.
After an incredible day wandering through the Central Serengeti plains, you will drive to your camp for evening leisure and hot dinner.

Enjoy your hearty breakfast before departing for the final game drive in Central Serengeti en route to Seronera Airstrip in time for your flight to Arusha. Enjoy the beautiful morning light that brings life to the landscape, a perfect chance for memorable photos, before leaving this incredible region.
Upon arrival, our representative will collect you and drive further to the airport (JRO) in time for your flight back home. It is a bittersweet moment for both you and us as we say goodbye, but we hope to see you return soon! 😊.
