After breakfast, depart from Arusha, stopping in town for any last-minute shopping before beginning your safari adventure. Continue to Lake Manyara National Park, a small yet spectacular park known for its diverse habitats, including acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab-strewn cliffs, hot springs, swamps, and the lake itself. The park supports a large variety of animals and birdlife. It is famous for having the largest population of baboons in the world, and its lions are renowned for climbing trees.

Day 2
Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for the Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Serengeti plains, where wildlife roams across seemingly endless grasslands. Arrive at the central Seronera area, a region rich in wildlife due to the Seronera River, which provides a reliable water source. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive in this iconic park.

Day 3

Begin the day with a morning game drive along the Sogore River Circuit, south of the Seronera River, where you may see lions, Thomson’s gazelles, topis, ostriches, and cheetahs. In the afternoon, explore the Kopjes Circuit, winding around the Maasai Kopjes. These granite rock formations create small ecosystems with shade and water pools that attract wildlife, especially predators like lions. This circuit is particularly good for spotting animals during the dry season.

Day 4

After an early morning game drive, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Optionally, stop at Olduvai Gorge, a site of major historical importance where Drs. Louis and Mary Leakey discovered hominid fossils such as “Nutcracker Man” and “Handy Man,” key links in human evolution. Continue to Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast, descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day wildlife safari. The crater supports a wide variety of animals, including wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippos, and elephants. Predators such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and occasionally leopards are also present. Visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake in the southwest corner, home to flamingos, hippos, and other waterbirds. In the late afternoon, return to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Njiro Legacy Lodge or for airport transfer.
