Ngorongoro Crater

Rise early and ascend into the misty, cool highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descending down the steep walls into the magnificent crater floor. This natural volcanic caldera is a self-contained paradise sheltering an immense concentration of wildlife, including the rare black rhino, massive bull elephants, lions, flamingos, and hippos. Enjoy an extensive game drive across the diverse habitats of the crater basin. Following lunch by a scenic hippo pool, begin the ascent back up the crater rim and return to Arusha by evening, concluding your unforgettable safari.
