You will be checked into your hotel as per earlier booking where you will be able to rest and prepare thoroughly for our 7 days Uganda gorilla wildlife safari kicking off the following day.

Day 2
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

The second day of your Uganda gorilla safari will begin with an early morning breakfast then drive to Queen Elizabeth National park in western Uganda. Enjoy a splendid view of traditional homesteads on your way. The western part of Uganda is intriguingly dotted with long-horned cattle that are pride in the Ankole kingdom and other regions in this part of Uganda. Lunch will be provided en-route since the journey is a bit long.
Queen Elizabeth National park is one of the most famous parks in Uganda. The park is home to a number of wildlife and lush savannah that you are soon to enjoy. Check into your lodge as per earlier booking upon arrival for a peaceful night’s rest and tasty dinner.

Day 3

On the 3rd day, you will have an early morning breakfast and an amazing game drive through the park for a wildlife thrilling experience. Queen Elizabeth National park is the most visited park in Uganda with a range of wildlife including Elephants, buffalo, kob, and hyenas among others.
The Kasenyi area lies in the north of the park in Kasese district, along the shores of Lake George a freshwater lake in the western rift valley. It is close to the point where the Kazinga channel joins Lake George. The Kasenyi area is flooding with Uganda kob, lions that you can easily spot as you drive through this part of the park.
Further head on to the Kazinga channel, a freshwater channel that joins lakes Edward and George for a boat launch. Enjoy an endless view of Nile crocodiles and hippos as well as a massive range of birdlife to choose from. After a memorable and fun-filled afternoon, retire to your lodge to freshen up, have dinner and enjoy a beautiful night’s rest.

Day 4

After your early morning breakfast, drive out to the Kyambura gorge in the east of Queen Elizabeth National park. The gorge stretches to 100metrees in depth below sea level and is also a natural habitat for chimpanzees. You will have a short briefing before heading out to the thick forestry to trek the chimps in their natural habitat, you will be able to watch the chimps go about their daily activities; finding food among others.
The gorge is home to other primates as well like the Black and white colobus, red-tailed monkey. After a thrilling day in the gorge, retire to your lodge for dinner and a night’s rest as you await more fun activities from your “adventure tours” safari pack.

Day 5

Have an early breakfast then drive to the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National park, the Ishasha sector. This section of the park is the most visited owing to tree-climbing lions that have made the park their abode. The rare sight of a lion climbing a tree can only be found in two countries in Africa; Tanzania and this park in Uganda.
You will be amazed as you watch these huge cats lie about lazily on tree branches as the day passes them by. The Ishasha sector is also home to endless Uganda kobs that are prey to the lions. After your extraordinary adventure, press on to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park through lush savannah and varied landscapes. Upon arrival, check into your lodge as per earlier booking for a splendid dinner and overnight rest.

Day 6

You begin your day with a hot cup of tea in the morning, before assembling at the park headquarters with your packed lunch for a short briefing. You will be grouped up before heading deep into the Bwindi forest to trek the Mountain Gorillas. The activity can take you from 2 hours to half a day and can be done by a maximum of 8 people a day.
After you have found the gorillas then, you will have the opportunity to spend at least 1 hour with them. You will watch as they go about their day-to-day life; feeding their young, gathering food. After your day with the friendly giants, retire to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

You will have early morning breakfast then drive to Entebbe International Airport for your flight home. You will drive by the equator in Masaka for a brief stop and photograph taking en route to the airport.
