Your Uganda Gorilla - Chimpanzee and White Water Rafting safari will start with picking you up from Entebbe international airport, you will then embark on your Journey to Jinja the country's prime adventure capital. You will be regrouped for a short briefing before heading out to the source of the Nile for the thrilling White Nile rafting.

River Nile has steady rapids of low grade to more mind-blowing and thrilling rapids to give you the best and most memorable experience.

Day 2

On the second day of your Uganda gorilla - chimpanzee and white water rafting safari adventure, you will have breakfast and transfer to Kibale National Park at around 8:00 am. Once you arrive at the park, you will check in at your choice lodging, have lunch and unwind before heading out to Ndali – Kasenda crater lakes region.

The region is a mass of lakes formed from ancient volcanic activity dating back to over 1000 years. The region offers you a scenic view of the rolling hills, the rugged landscape and thick greenery covering the surrounding areas. After exploring the lakes, you will retire to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After having breakfast, you will prepare to embark on a chimp trekking excursion, an activity to supplement your Uganda gorilla tours safari experience. Kibale National Park has the highest concentration of chimp population in Uganda and is home to 13 other primate species.

You will report at Kanyanchu Visitor Center for a briefing from the park authorities after which you will be allocated a chimp community to track. Chimpanzees live in large communities of about 100 individuals, and a typical tracking experience lasts between 2 – 6 hours.

After your chimpanzee tracking experience, you will have lunch and head out for a guided nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary. The swamp is a habitat to over 200 bird species, and a variety of primate and mammal species including; the various kinds of monkeys, otters, bush pigs, bushbucks, sitatungas, and mongooses.

Day 4

You will then embark on your gorilla trekking excursion, you will make a stop on your way where you will have a savory lunch at one of the best restaurants. Continuing with your journey, you will have a chance to pass through Queen Elizabeth National Park’s famous Ishasha region – the home of the tree-climbing lions. You will have a glimpse of these noteworthy lions nestled in massive tree branches.

You will then arrive at Buhoma, one of the four main gorilla trekking regions in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, in the early evening. You can embark on a nature walk before retiring to your chosen accommodation for dinner and overnight.

The fifth day of your Uganda gorilla - chimpanzee and white water rafting safari starts with an early breakfast before you head out to the park headquarters at around 7:00 am. You will be briefed about the ‘dos’ and ‘don’ts’ while on a gorilla trekking excursion. You will then hit the trail-head with a team of professional guides and trackers.

A typical gorilla trekking excursion lasts between 2 – 8 hours. Hiking through the beaten trails in search of the potent giants is exerting but greatly rewarding. The hours you spend searching through the vast forest are not boring; you get to encounter a variety of mammal, primate, and bird species as well as noteworthy floral and plant life.

You can have your packed lunch before or after your gorilla trekking expedition. As the afternoon wanes, you will embark on the ‘Batwa experience’. The expedition includes visiting the community where the Batwa – native forest dwellers live.

Your driver-guide will drop you at your desired location. This will mark the end of your Uganda gorilla - chimp and white water rafting safari experience.
