After your long flight, you will be picked up by our local guide at Kilimanjaro Airport and transferred to your accommodations in Arusha for dinner and your overnight stay.

Arusha is a city in Tanzania, located at the base of the volcanic Mount Meru. It serves as a gateway to Tanzania's safari destinations.

Day 2

Arusha - Serengeti National Park

Arusha - Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at your accommodation, you will depart for Serengeti National Park for an afternoon game drive. During the journey, a packed lunch will be provided en route to the central Serengeti, which spans an impressive 14,763 km². The park is home to the Big Five, as well as a wide range of mammals including wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, antelopes, jackals, gazelles, and a rich variety of bird species.

You will explore the endless plains during your afternoon game drive before transferring to your camp or lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

An optional visit to a Maasai village is available for an additional fee.

Day 3

After an early breakfast at your accommodation, you will embark on a full-day safari through Serengeti National Park, with a packed lunch provided. Spend the day exploring the park’s diverse landscapes, observing its extraordinary fauna and flora.

Expect to see large herds of grazing animals, often with predators nearby, showcasing the dramatic balance of life in the Serengeti. With some luck, you may witness a hunting scene or spot the elusive leopard with its prey in the trees.

After an afternoon and evening of game viewing, you will return to your camp or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu

After an early breakfast, you will depart for a game drive through the Serengeti en route to the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is one of East Africa’s most breathtaking wildlife destinations, offering excellent opportunities to see the Big Five and interact with the Maasai people along the way.

Upon reaching the crater rim, the 20 km-wide caldera unfolds in all its stunning glory. You will descend into the crater along an adventurous trail. This World Heritage Site is home to over 25,000 animals, including numerous bird species, hyenas, and the endangered black rhino.

A hot lunch will be served at a picnic spot near the Hippo Pool, after which you will continue your crater exploration. Later, you will ascend the crater walls and drive directly to your accommodations in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

Karatu - Tarangire National Park - Arusha

Karatu - Tarangire National Park - Arusha

After an early breakfast at your accommodation, you will drive directly to Tarangire National Park, approximately one hour away. Covering 2,600 square kilometers, Tarangire is one of Tanzania’s largest parks and is famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds. During the dry season, the park hosts a mini-wildlife migration of around 250,000 animals, including herds of over 300 elephants, large groups of buffalo, and healthy populations of lions and leopards. Tarangire has the highest concentration of mammals in Tanzania during this season.

A picnic lunch will be served inside the park, followed by a final afternoon game drive. Afterward, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
