Day 1

Arriva in Arusha

Pick up by our local guide at the Kilimanjaro airport and transfer to accommodation in Arusha for dinner and overnight after long hours of flight to overnight at Planet Lodge.

Arusha is a city in East Africa's Tanzania, located at the base of volcanic Mt. Meru. It's a gateway to safari destinations in Tanzania.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, we will depart for a game drive in Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River, the only reliable water source for wildlife during the dry season. This park is ideal for a first safari experience, offering excellent opportunities to observe elephants, predators, and plains game.

A packed lunch will be provided during your game drive. After the safari, you will drive to Burunge Tented Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Tarangire to Central Serengeti

Tarangire to Central Serengeti

After breakfast at around 8:00 AM, you will depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Continue your journey around the crater and descend the other side, enjoying the scenic drive and occasional bumps — your “African massage” — while passing through Maasai villages along the way.

At the Naabi Hill entrance gate, you can take a short walk to a viewpoint offering spectacular views across the endless Serengeti plains. A hot lunch will be served either at the gate or en route to the heart of the Serengeti, with an incredible bush setup arranged by your guide.

The Serengeti is home to the largest concentration of wildlife on the planet, providing unlimited opportunities for game viewing. After a full day of exploration, you will drive to your tented camp or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Central to North Serengeti

Central to North Serengeti

After breakfast, you will depart for a morning game drive in Central Serengeti, with every effort made to spot the elusive leopard and, with some luck, witness a predator hunting scene. A packed lunch will be served in the wild during your safari.

In the afternoon, you will continue your journey northward to Kogatende, enjoying game viewing along the route. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

North Serengeti game drive

North Serengeti game drive

After breakfast at your accommodation, you will depart for a full-day game drive in the northern Serengeti, searching for the Great Migration and enjoying the stunning landscapes near the Mara River and Masai Mara border. With some luck, you may also spot the endangered black rhino near the Serengeti Rhino Project.

Lunch will be served at your accommodation, followed by a leisurely afternoon to relax. In the evening, depart for a sunset safari and sundowner experience before returning to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6

Northern to Central Serengeti

After breakfast in accommodation, departure for the final safari in the morning in the same area around Mara River, after the safari in the morning, we drive to the central part of Serengeti with on route game drive. Package lunch in nature. Last day to see the sunset with the unique colors that only this park can offer, later evening drive to the accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti Crater safari to Karatu

After a delicious breakfast, you will depart early for the Ngorongoro Crater, with a game drive en route. The crater is one of East Africa’s most breathtaking wildlife destinations and an excellent place to observe the Big Five, while also offering opportunities to interact with the Maasai people.

Upon reaching the crater rim, the 20 km-wide caldera unfolds in all its stunning glory. You will descend into the crater along an adventurous trail. This World Heritage Site is home to over 25,000 animals, including a variety of bird species, hyenas, and the endangered black rhino.

A hot lunch will be served at a picnic spot near the Hippo Pool, after which you will continue your crater exploration. Later, you will ascend the crater walls and drive to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara national park To Arusha

Lake Manyara national park To Arusha

Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famously known as the home of tree-climbing lions and a birdwatcher’s paradise. The park is home to over 500 bird species, and even a first-time visitor may expect to spot around 100 species in a single day.

Inland from the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored habitat of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. Other wildlife you may encounter includes giraffes, zebras, hyenas, buffalo, hippos, elephants, and wildebeests.

After the game drive, you will visit Mto Mbu village for a cultural tour, followed by a local lunch prepared by a local family. After lunch, you will drive back to Arusha, either being dropped off at the agreed point or at the airport, marking the end of our safari services.
