Arrival In Rwanda | Visit Genocide Memorial Site | Transfer To Musanze | Visit Dian Fossey Centre

On arrival in Rwanda in the morning hours, you will be welcomed and picked up by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Kigali International Airport and transferred for a city tour, visiting the Genocide Memorial Site, which gives a brief history of the country you are visiting.

Thereafter, you will be driven to Musanze, where you will visit the Dian Fossey Center.

You will relax in evening and generally take it easy to allow yourself to both process and recover from all of the excitement that you’ve enjoyed on your safari so far.

Gorilla Trekking In Volcanoes National Park | Cultural Interaction

After breakfast, you will assemble at the park headquarters for a briefing in the morning together with your trekking gear and drinking water and ascend in the forest to trek the gorillas after the briefing. Volcanoes National Park is known for its ultimate primate safaris, where tourists will get to see a number of primate species.

There are twelve gorilla families living in Volcanoes National Park that are fully habituated, with a few others habituated solely for scientific research. The groups, or troops, consist of at least one silverback along with several females and youngsters.

In the evening you will visit the Iby'lwacu Cultural center to enjoy the Rwandan culture including the traditional dance.

This is your last day with us. After having a delightful breakfast, you will be driven on back to Kigali. On arrival, you will visit the local market.

After lunch, you will be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your scheduled flight back home.
