1-Day Mkomazi National Park Breathtaking Trip

After breakfast, you will meet our professional tour guide, who will provide a brief overview of the day. Following the briefing, we will travel to Mkomazi National Park. This park is a crucial haven for two highly endangered species—the charismatic black rhino and the sociable African wild dog. Mkomazi boasts breathtaking beauty, showcasing unique natural treasures and a sense of space that enhances visitors' enjoyment. It serves as a crucial link between the northern circuit and coastal attractions.

Mkomazi is also an excellent destination for birdwatchers, with over 450 recorded avian species. Among them are dry country endemics such as the cobalt-chested vulturine guinea fowl, along with larger ground birds like the ostrich, kori bustard, secretary bird and ground hornbill. Additionally, you may spot migratory species, including the Eurasian roller.

We will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before returning to Moshi or Arusha, where we will conclude our African safari adventure.
