First you will visit the waterfalls, which are around a 30-minute walk away. On the way, your guide will inform you about the culture of the village life and explain the surrounding fauna and flora.
When you reach the waterfalls, you will see the pool at the bottom of the waterfall is an inviting place for a refreshing swim so don’t forget your swim-wear!
After having enjoyed the scenery, you will experience a traditional local food preparation, you will cook and eat the food you made.
Next the coffee experience awaits you. Here you will learn how coffee is cultivated, dried, roasted and further processed.
You will also be invited to help with the grinding of the coffee, which is traditionally accompanied by local songs and dances – a fun way to immerse yourself in the local culture, you can savour the coffee you made and appreciate the views of the surrounding rainforest.
Later on, after finished the tour you will be drive to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Ngorongoro crater
At 7:30 am, descend down the crater rim. Ngorongoro Crater has a volcanic soil that supports many habitats, making it very possible for you to see all of the Big 5 in a single day. Inside the park, there's Lake Makat (meaning soda lake in Maasai) which provides a home for many birds.
Apart from that, the inside the park is well known for the existence of many Maasai families living in their circular-oriented Bomas. Furthermore, it's a must for anyone wishing to explore the history of human evolution, pioneered by Leakey's family.
Animal expected to spot are lions, buffalo, wildebeest, many birds, zebras, hippos, gazelle, jackal, fox and other wild dogs, eland, waterbuck, serval, ungulates. Absentees are giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, and elephants, which are rarely seen at the crater rim.
Later in the evening, you will be driven to Arusha and dropped at your hotel.
