Your driver and safari specialist will pick you up at Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport and will driver you to your chosen hotel in Arusha. Next day your Safari will start in morning, you first stop will be Tarangire National Park the elephant park.

Tarangire National Park

At 7:00 am your safari driver guide will pick you up at your hotel in Arusha and start your journey to the unique Tarangire National Park. One of the last untouched places on earth, the park is famous for its huge herds of elephants against a stunning backdrop of majestic, ancient Baobab trees. Many of Tarangire’s larger residents follow the rains to greener pastures between November and June. Wildebeest and zebras join elephants, buffalo, and giraffes to form a wildlife migration second only to the Serengeti/Maasai Mara phenomenon

There are large populations of impala, giraffe, eland, and buffalo. Thompson’s gazelle, hartebeest, boho reedbuck, and both the greater and lesser kudu are also in abundance here. Lion pride is common throughout Tarangire in terms of predators, as are leopards and spotted hyenas. Packs of wild dogs sometimes pass through as well.

After a day spent exploring Tarangire, you will head to your accommodation for dinner and overnight rest.

Serengeti central

An early start to the day, as we head out for a full day game viewing in search of some more migration action. Enjoy a full day exploring along the river banks, waiting for possible crossings and watching the build up of energy among the migrating herds. Throughout June and July, the wildebeest migration continues moving north, with some animals heading through the Grumeti Reserve and Ikorongo, while others venture north to the heart of the Serengeti. After an eventful and emotional day, you are driven back to your accommodation inside the national park in time for a gourmet dinner. Cosy around the campfire and enjoy sharing stories of the day’s wildlife sightings.

Central serengeti

After an early breakfast, you will begin your journey to the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area. By lunchtime, you will be descending into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, formed when a volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself 2-3 million years ago. You will enjoy your first game drive around the crater floor, stopping for a picnic lunch at one of the many scenic lunch spots. With its 2,000-foot-high walls, very few animals migrate in and out of the crater, making it an area with one of the highest concentrations of wild animals globally.

You’ll be searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and many rare birds you might even get to see the “Big Five” all in one day!

Later during the day, you will be transferred to your reserved hotel.

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will depart for the amazing Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Crater was formed 2-3 million years ago when a volcano exploded and collapsed. With its 2,000-foot-high walls, very few animals migrate in and out of the crater providing it with one of the highest concentration of wild animals of any African national park.

Residents of the Ngorongoro include lions, elephants, giraffe, zebra, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhino, antelope and many rare birds. You might even see the ‘Big Five’ before stopping for a picnic lunch! After lunch, you will continue exploring more of the National Park. At around 6 pm you will depart to your reserved accommodation.
