Arrival In Entebbe

Upon Arrival at Entebbe International Airport, VIP meet & greet and assisted through immigration, collect your luggage and exit the arrivals terminal where you will be met by your driver/Guide who will transfer you to your Lodge for overnight stay.

You will relax ahead of tomorrow's long drive to Bwindi.

Transfer to Bwindi & Batwa Trail

In the morning after breakfast, we leave for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the southwestern part of Uganda. The scenic route runs through a verdant countryside while you pass traditional homesteads and farms.

We will stop along the way for lunch.

In the afternoon we will have a batwa community experience the rest of the evening.

There is an option of taking a domestic flight from Entebbe to Kisoro airstrip for those who can't bare long distances.

Gorilla Tracking

This is the day of your gorilla-tracking experience. At 7:45 am, you will be at the office of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for a pre-briefing, and at 8:30 am, you will start the trek. After locating the gorillas, you will spend a maximum of 1 hour with them. All visitors are expected back to the starting point by 7 pm. Being physically fit is recommended.

Canoeing & Relaxing

After breakfast, you can choose to go on a guided village walk for a closer experience with the local community. Learn about their way of living as you walk through coffee, tea and banana plantations. Afterward, we depart to Lake Bunyonyi, the deepest lake in Uganda. This area is often called the “little Switzerland of Uganda” and boasts one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Relax or go for a canoe trip while you watch the beautiful sunset.

After the challenging and strenuous hike during the gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, some relaxing moments on the shores of this peaceful lake are most welcome. The options here include birding, nature walks, swimming or canoeing (not included in the tour price).

To Entebbe Airport

In the early morning, the last part of the journey will bring us to Entebbe Airport.

On the way back after Masaka, there will be an opportunity to stop at the equator to take photos, buy souvenirs and have lunch. We will take you directly to Entebbe Airport.

There is an option of taking a domestic flight from Kisoro airstrip to Entebbe for those who can't bare long distances.
