After breakfast, you will depart Kampala at around 7:00 am proceeding to Kibale Forest National Park. You may get to Kibale at around 12:00 pm where you will check in to your lodge and have lunch. After some rest you will head out for an evening nature walk experiencing and enjoying the beautiful scenery of the tea plantations and the crater lakes around.

Chimpanzee Tracking Experience
You will wake up early for breakfast and thereafter you proceed to the Park headquarters in Kibale Forest National Park. After a short briefing by one of the park staff you will be allocated a guide who will lead you into the forest to find the chimpanzees. This park is the only place in East Africa where one can have the best primate tracking viewing the chimpanzee- man’s closest relative. There are many chances that you will be done with the chimpanzee tracking at around 12:00 pm and thereafter you will head back to your lodge for lunch. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Drive to Bwindi Forest National Park
Today after breakfast you will set off to Bwindi via Ishasha the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park a place well known for the tree climbing lions. And so you will drive while checking to catch them in the trees. You may also see some other animals like elephants, buffaloes, lions, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, hyenas as you proceed to Bwindi Forest National Park.

Gorilla Trekking Experience
This day is always regarded as the biggest day of all days in the safari. So, after breakfast you will head out to the park headquarters where you have to get to not later than 7:30am. And here you will join other visitors for a briefing by one of the park staff and thereafter you will meet with the lead guide who will take you into the forest to find the gorilla family that you will be allocated to. This may take between 2-7 hours round trip depending on how long the family you are trekking will have moved today from where it was last seen yesterday.

Drive to Entebbe
After breakfast, you will depart Bwindi for Entebbe with a lunch stop in Mbarara and also at the equator for a photo shot and some shopping of souvenirs as you may wish. And after this you continue to Entebbe and then back home. This will also mark the end of our memorable and lifetime safari.
