Transfer from Kigali to Volcanoes National park

The 3 Days Rwanda Gorilla trekking safari in Volcanoes national park begins with our driver guide meeting you at Kigali International airport or your hotel in Kigali.

He/she thereafter transfers you northwards to Volcanoes national park in Musanze, home to more than 300 Mountain Gorillas.

Have Dinner and overnight near the park.

Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes national park and visit to Gorilla guardian cultural center

In the morning after breakfast, transfer to Kinigi park headquarters in Musanze town for a briefing by the park warden. Guests are accordingly allocated their specific Gorilla groups for tracking in respect to their physical abilities.

At 8:00 am the local time all tourists are transferred to various starting points for gorilla trekking. Normally it takes 1 to 6 hours to encounter the mountain gorillas as they keep moving from one point to another.

Upon spotting them, you are free to stay in their presence taking photographs and imitating their calls. Return to the park headquarters and proceed to have some lunch as you relax before beginning the evening activities.
You will spend part of your evening at Iby’wachu Cultural Village now known as Gorilla guardian cultural village before an overnight at your hotel.

Transfer from Volcanoes to Kigali and a city tour to Genocide Museum

Have an early morning breakfast and transfer back to Kigali for a tour around the city most especially paying a visit to Kigali Genocide Museum.
Upon arriving in Kigali, Visit the Gisozi Genocide Memorial Site and the local handicrafts market and then proceed to the airport for your departure.
