4-Day Kruger Park and Panorama Route Adventure Safari

Johannesburg to Hazyview & Sunset Safari Drive

Departing from the Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport by 07h00, you will travel east through the farmlands and on to the Kruger National Park.

You will arrive at the Kruger Adventure Lodge, located in Hazyview and only a 15-minute drive away from the Phabeni Gate to the national park. You have time to check into your en-suite, air-conditioned chalet or tent accommodation (depending on availability when booking) and freshen up. Later, depart on your first open-vehicle safari drive in the Kruger National Park.
This safari drive takes about 2 to 2 and a half hours. We return to the lodge at sunset and in time for a beverage and dinner served at the lodge.

Kruger Park Open Vehicle Safari Drive

Following an early wake-up call, there will be time for tea or coffee and rusks before departing for a full-day open-vehicle safari drive from approximately 06h00 to 15h30. Brunch is included along your route, and your guide will also stop for you to purchase refreshments during the day.

Dinner is served under the stars at the private lodge on the outskirts of the national park.

Guided Panorama Route Tour

Breakfast is served at the lodge before departing on a full-day tour of the Panorama Route, home to the third-largest canyon in the world and the largest vegetated canyon in the world. The 8-hour tour takes you to sites such as God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes, the Blyde River Canyon, 3 Rondavels, 1 of the numerous waterfalls along the route, Graskop and Pilgrim's Rest. Lunch is on your own account at one of the many stops along the route.

After a full day of scenic wonders, you will return to the lodge for a welcoming cold beverage and dinner.

Optional Safari Drive and Return to Johannesburg

You wake up early and depart on an optional sunrise safari drive in the open safari vehicle. Please note that this safari drive on the final day is an optional extra and can be booked and paid for directly at the lodge on arrival (R1,050.00 per person, subject to change). Alternatively, you can enjoy the morning at the lodge before departing to Hazyview at noon for your return transfer to Johannesburg.

You will arrive at the Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport between 17h00 – 18h00.
