Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by a representative from Big Apes Africa Safaris who will transfer you to your hotel in Kampala. The hotel overlooks the stunning Lake Victoria, which is Africa's biggest freshwater lake.

Day 2

On this first day, you will drive west to the jungles of Kibale forest national park located in Kabarole and Kamwenge districts. You will have lunch along the way, in Fortportal city. You can choose to relax at the lodge or take a guided walk to the Ndali-Kasenda craters after the long drive.

Day 3

After an early breakfast, drive to Kibale Forest National Park a tropical rainforest or you can call it the Primate Capital of the world with 13 species of primates and check in for a briefing. You will later on be divided into small groups and enter the forest with a park ranger. This activity usually takes around three hours including a full hour of their company.
You are advised to carry enough drinking water. After the activity you will have lunch and proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park Where you will have an evening game drive. You have a chance to see elephants, lions, leopard and many more!

Day 4

Game drive, Boat Cruise & transfer to Ishasha sector

After an early breakfast, head for a game drive in search of animals like elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopard and more. This is the most bio-diverse park yet not the biggest with a mammal checklist of 95species and 610 species of birds and much more. After lunch, head to the southern part of the park for a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel with chances of seeing elephants drinking water, hippos, crocodiles, water birds and more. After the Boat cruise, you will be transferred to Ishasha sector, which is famous for tree climbing lions.

After breakfast, you will have a game drive in Ishasha, the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth NP famous for its tree climbing lions. Your other safari favorites are available too like the elephants, leopard and more depending on your luck of the day. After game drive you will immediately proceed to Bwindi national park, with lunch along the way.

Day 6

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the briefing point in the forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to get to be enlightened about your adventure with the Mountain Gorillas. You are advised to carry enough drinking water and a lunch box. At a cost of 15 US dollars, you can get a potter to carry your bag and give you a hand in slippery or steep parts of the forest.
After the briefing, you are distributed into groups of eight and led by a park ranger into the forest where you will spend one hour with the gentle giants. A rain gear is important considering that Bwindi is a tropical rain-forest. After gorilla tracking, you could explore the surrounding communities and learn about their way of life. A visit to the Batwa Pygmies, the old people of the forest can be arranged.
