Day 1

We'll depart at 7:30 am from an agreed-upon pick-up point in Arusha town and transfer to Tarangire National Park. The drive to the park gate will take about 2.5 hours. You’ll enter the park after registering at the gate.

Tarangire National Park in Tanzania is called the "land of baobab trees" and is home to massive elephants. It has more than 500 different bird species. In the evening, we'll drive to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will drive from the Country Lodge to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It will take 4 to 5 hours to drive from the country lodge to the Serengeti gate. On the way, you will make some stops at the Ngorongoro viewpoint and the Olduvai Gorge statue. On arrival in Serengeti National Park, you will have a half-day game drive until the evening. You will then drive to Kiriche Luxury Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

In the early morning, either before or after breakfast (as arranged with your guide), you will depart for a morning game drive until lunchtime. After lunch, you will continue with a game drive en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before heading to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast, we drive from Marera Valley Lodge to the crater for a half-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa. Here, all the major safari animals occur in great numbers. The resident population of the endangered black rhinos is a real treat, as rhinos are very difficult to spot. The crater is also home to some very impressive elephant bulls with huge tusks. At Lake Magadi, you will see a large number of flamingos.

At around 12 pm, we drive to the picnic site for lunch and then prepare to drive to Arusha, where we will be dropped off at the agreed-upon place.
