Northern Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart with a picnic lunch and a game drive to the northern Serengeti. You will cross the Mara River to witness the wildebeest migration. During the annual great migration (August to October), the wildlife viewing along the Mara River is breathtaking. The Serengeti-Mara region is one of the best places in the park to observe wildebeest crossings during the Dry season. During the great migration, large herds of wildebeest and their companions gather on one bank of the Mara River. The crossing can take a long time (sometimes up to several days) for a brave individual, encouraging others to follow. Interestingly, these herds sometimes move from one bank to the other for no apparent reason. In the evening, you will head to Sero Tented Camp.
