Day 1

Lilongwe to Liwonde National Park

Lilongwe to Liwonde National Park

Departing from Lilongwe between 7 and 8 am, depending on your pick-up location and that of your
fellow travelers, we make our way to Liwonde National Park. En-route we make a few photo stops, if
time allows, to arrive in time for lunch. After setting up camp we meet with our captain for the
afternoon boat safari.
Overnight: Liwonde Safari Camp - Camping.

Day 2

Liwonde National Park

Today we have a full day at Liwonde National Park. After an early cup of coffee, we enter the park for an
early morning game drive. Breakfast will be served on our return, and the rest of the morning is at
leisure. After lunch its time to gather the binoculars and sun hat once more for our afternoon game
drive.
Overnight: Liwonde Safari Camp - Camping.

Day 3

Liwonde National Park to Lilongwe

Liwonde National Park to Lilongwe

After breakfast and breaking up camp we still have the morning to enjoy. There is an optional hour
birding hike available, within the perimeter of the lodge, before making our way back to Lilongwe.
