1-Day Big Five & Boat Safari on Lake Ihema in Akagera NP

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Our professional guide/driver will pick you up from your hotel, residence, or the airport in Kigali at approximately 5:00 AM for a scenic 3-hour drive to the park. Upon arrival, your guide will assist you with the registration process.

You will then proceed on a morning game drive, accompanied by a professional community ranger. The game drive typically lasts about 2.5 hours but may extend up to 6 hours depending on wildlife sightings and your interests. During the drive, you may encounter animals such as lions, zebras, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, leopards (if lucky), and rhinos.

After the game drive, you will enjoy a picnic lunch within the park before embarking on an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Ihema. Following the boat cruise, you will begin your return journey to Kigali, with an estimated arrival time of 7:30 PM.

This experience promises to be an unforgettable wildlife adventure. Please note that the game drive and boat safari may be adjusted depending on suitability.
