Day 1

Our jouney starts at 7:30am with a pickup from your hotel. We’ll enjoy breakfast and a brief, 25-minute bathroom break at Shell Kayabwe. Our journey then includes a stop at the equator landmark, providing an opportunity to experience the earth's rotation on its axis. We’ll then stop in Biharwe for short hike to the Eclipse Monument, followed by a one-hour lunch break at Igongo Cultural Centre. We’ll also stop for 15 minutes each at an aerial viewpoint of Lake Bunyonyi and the Mt. Muhavura volcanoes viewpoint. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at a lodge in Bwindi.

Day 2

Today is your gorilla trek. In the morning we’ll proceed to the park gate for registration and a briefing. Participants will then be assigned a trekking group with a guide and rangers. From here your gorilla trek will begin, lasting between 30 minutes to two hours (depending on the gorillas' location). Participants are then granted an hour to observe the gorillas before being asked to return to the briefing point, where they will receive a trekking certificate from the Uganda Wildlife Authority.

Breakfast will be served at 6:30am, and our journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park begins promptly at 7:00am. Upon arrival at the lodge, we will have lunch and then go on an evening game drive to observe the wildlife in the park. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 4

Kalinzu Forest Reserve

Kalinzu Forest Reserve

After at 6:30am breakfast, we’ll embark on our journey to Kalinzu Forest Reserve for the chimpanzee trek. After a briefing, we’ll spend 2-3 hours trekking the chimps and then return to the hotel for lunch. At 2:00pm we’ll go on a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and then return to the hotel to rest.

After a 6:00am breakfast, we’ll travel to Murchison Falls National Park through the Kyenjojo District. Upon arrival, we will check in at the hotel and have lunch. In the evening, we will pay a visit to the top of Murchison Falls. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast at 7:30am, we’ll embark on a 2–3-hour morning game drive in the national park. Later we’ll return to the hotel to rest and have lunch. At 2:00pm we’ll go on a two hour boast cruise on the Nile river before returning to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

After an 8:00am breakfast we’ll head to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to visit with the white rhinos for 1-2 hours. Following the sanctuary visit, our journey continues to Jinja town with intermittent stops for lunch, bathroom breaks, and shopping at supermarkets for any necessary supplies.
