You've been dreaming of your Tanzanian safari for so long, and the day when it begins has finally arrived. You will be met at Kilimanjaro International Airport and welcomed to Tanzania by a Samora Explorers Ltd staff member, We'll greet you, give you a quick rundown on what happens next and answer your questions. Then after that your guide will be driving to the Lodge where you will have the chance to relax and prepare for tomorrow's safari.

Day 2

Arusha To Tarangire National Park

Arusha To Tarangire National Park

You will start your safari in the morning by driving to the Tarangire National Park. The park is roughly the size of Luxemburg and covers an area of about 2,600sq km. Bush savannah, seasonal swamps, and giant baobab trees make up the landscape of this nature reserve and the park is probably one of the best places in East Africa to see elephants. From the open roof of the safari vehicle, you will be able to watch them and absorb the landscape. Apart from elephants, the park is also home to Masai giraffes, various gazelles, antelopes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, baboons, and more than 500 types of birds. After an extensive game drive, you will leave the park and drive to Mto Wa Mbuu to overnight.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will make your way to Serengeti National Park for a full-day game drive (and picnic lunch). A million wildebeest, each one driven by the same ancient rhythm, fulfil their instinctive role in the inescapable cycle of life here. Serengeti has really special sights, sounds, and smells of Africa with stunning scenery, ever-changing light, and entertaining wildlife. In this park, the animals don’t walk to any schedule so we may find lions, leopards, elephants, zebras, cheetahs, antelopes, gazelles, hippos, and many species of birds and reptiles during our game drive. Here you might spend your day in the central park area or your guide will know where to take you according to the season (migration of the animals).

Half-Day Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highland

Half-Day Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highland

After an early breakfast, enjoy a half-day game drive in the Serengeti National Park, giving you one last opportunity to experience its breathtaking landscapes and incredible wildlife. Keep your camera ready as you search for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, cheetahs, hyenas, and many other animals roaming the endless plains. Around midday, stop for a picnic lunch before beginning your scenic drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you ascend the Ngorongoro Highlands, admire the spectacular views of rolling hills, volcanic craters, and lush forests. Keep an eye out for Maasai herders grazing their cattle along the way. Arrive at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite in the late afternoon, where you can relax, enjoy dinner under the African sky, and prepare for an early morning descent into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater the following day.

Start your day very early with breakfast before departing for the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend over 600 meters into the world's largest intact volcanic caldera for an unforgettable game drive. The crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the rare black rhinoceros—as well as zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, jackals, and thousands of flamingos around Lake Magadi. Your experienced safari guide will take you to the best wildlife viewing areas while sharing insights about the crater's unique ecosystem. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the scenic hippo pool before continuing your game drive. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin your journey back to Arusha, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Arusha or transferred directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzania safari.
