Your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel or the airport in the morning and begin the scenic journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park in western Uganda. The drive takes you through beautiful countryside, small towns, tea plantations, and rolling hills.
You will stop for lunch along the way before continuing to the park. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge and relax while enjoying the peaceful views of the surrounding wilderness.

Day 2

Early in the morning, you will head out for a game drive across the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is one of the best times to see wildlife when animals are most active. During the drive you may spot elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, and many bird species.
After lunch at the lodge, you will go for a boat safari on the famous Kazinga Channel. This natural channel connects Lake Edward and Lake George and is known for having one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. You will see large groups of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and many water birds along the shoreline.

Day 3
Morning Chimp Tracking in Kalinzu and transfer to Bwindi

After breakfast, you will drive to Kalinzu Forest Reserve for an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience. With the guidance of park rangers, you will walk through the tropical forest searching for chimpanzees. Once you find them, you will spend time observing them as they play, feed, and move through the trees.
After the trek, you will have lunch and then continue the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. The drive offers beautiful views of the Kigezi Highlands often called the “Switzerland of Africa.

Day 4
Gorilla Tracking and transfer to Bunyonyi

Today is the highlight of the safari. After an early breakfast, you will report to the park headquarters in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a briefing before beginning your gorilla tracking adventure.
Guided by experienced rangers, you will hike through the dense forest searching for a gorilla family. The trek can take a few hours depending on where the gorillas are located. Once found, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat.
After the trek, you will transfer to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, a peaceful lake surrounded by green terraced hills and dotted with small islands. Relax at the lodge and enjoy the calm atmosphere.

Day 5
Canoe Ride on Lake Bunyonyi and Transfer to Entebbe
Canoe Ride on Lake Bunyonyi and Transfer to Entebbe
After breakfast, you will enjoy a traditional canoe boat experience on Lake Bunyonyi. As you glide across the calm waters, your guide will share stories about the different islands and local culture.
Later, you will begin the drive back to Entebbe with a stop for lunch and possibly a stop at the Equator for photos and souvenirs.
You will arrive in the evening for drop-off at your hotel or at the airport for your onward flight.
