Your safari adventure begins early in the morning with a pick-up from your hotel or residence in Kampala. You will then embark on a scenic drive towards Murchison Falls National Park, passing through traditional villages, rolling countryside, and local markets.
Along the way, you will have a stopover for lunch and relaxation before proceeding to the park. Upon arrival, you will visit the famous Top of the Falls where you will witness the mighty Nile River force itself through a narrow 7-meter gorge creating one of the strongest waterfalls in the world. The thunderous roar and beautiful scenery provide excellent opportunities for photography and sightseeing.
After the experience, continue to your budget lodge for check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 2
Early Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Nile Boat Cruise

After an early breakfast, you will head out for an exciting morning game drive on the northern bank of the park, which is rich in wildlife. During the drive, you may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, hyenas, and if lucky, leopards.
The game drive also offers excellent birdwatching opportunities for bird lovers and nature enthusiasts.
After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before heading for the unforgettable afternoon boat cruise on the River Nile towards the bottom of Murchison Falls.
During the cruise, you will have close views of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous water birds along the riverbanks. The boat cruise offers one of the best wildlife viewing experiences in Uganda.
After the cruise, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Chimpanzee Trekking in Budongo Forest & Transfer Back to Kampala
After an early breakfast, you will proceed to Budongo Forest for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience. Budongo Forest is one of Uganda’s richest tropical rainforests and home to habituated chimpanzees along with several bird species and primates.
Following a briefing by the park rangers, you will enter the forest in search of the chimpanzees. Once located, you will spend time observing them in their natural habitat as they feed, play, and interact.
After the trekking experience, you will begin your journey back to Kampala with a stop for lunch en route. Arrival in Kampala will be in the evening, marking the end of your memorable safari.
