"Upon arrival, a representative from Littlerock Safaris will greet you and accompany you to Musanze Town, located near Volcanoes National Park, in preparation for your Golden Monkey trekking experience the following day. If you have ample time upon arrival, you can embark on a short city tour, exploring the beautiful and clean city. Visit the crafts market and the Genocide Memorial to immerse yourself in the local culture and history.

Gorilla tracking and transfer to Kigali International Airport

Following an early breakfast, you will be driven to the briefing point at Volcanoes National Park, where you will receive comprehensive information about your exciting adventure with the Mountain Gorillas. It is advisable to carry an ample supply of drinking water and a packed lunch. If desired, you can hire a porter for $15 USD to assist you with your belongings and provide support.

Once briefed, you will be divided into groups of eight, led by a knowledgeable park ranger, and venture into the forest for an unforgettable encounter with the gentle giants. You will have the privilege of spending one hour in their presence, observing their behaviour in their natural habitat. As the park experiences occasional rainfall, it is essential to have appropriate rain gear.

After the exhilarating gorilla tracking experience, you will be transferred back to Kigali International Airport, where you will begin your return journey, carrying cherished memories of this remarkable wildlife encounter.
