After having break fast drive south of the city into the rift valley where your first stop over will be at Tiya to visit numerous Stela scattered in the area. Head via Butajira road to Arbaminch having stop over for lunch in Welaita. En route stop to see the wolaita tribes and beautiful huts on your way.

Arbaminch

In the morning boat trip on Lake Chamo to see hippos and crocodiles.

Leave Arbaminch to Awassa enjoying en route the villages and Tukuls.
Check in to your hotel and walk in the hotel compound or by the lake side to watch birds and colobus monkey.
Or swim in the hotel pool, play table tennis or do some exercise in the Gym. The spa facility is as well worth visiting.
