Day 1

Arusha to Mount Kilimanjaro National Park

After breakfast, you will depart from Arusha (or nearby accommodation) for the Marangu Gate, a drive of about two and a half hours. Enjoy a packed lunch box before climbing Mount Kilimanjaro's Mandara Camp. Later, descend to Marangu Gate and visit the Materuni Waterfalls. In the late afternoon, return to Arusha for your overnight stay and some relaxation.

On this day, you will visit Mount Kilimanjaro National Park and trek from the Marangu Gate to Mandara Camp, which takes about three to four hours. The climb takes you to 2,500m above sea level, and here, you will have a great experience before departing for Materuni village for a coffee tour with a local guide. Enjoy hot traditional food, and later travel to Chemka Hot Springs, where you can swim in the natural pool. The pool has clean water, warm on one side and cold on the other. Later in the evening, your driver will take you back to Arusha to your accommodation at Airport Planet Lodge.

Day 2

Transfer from Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Transfer from Arusha to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart at 8:00am for your transfer to Serengeti National Park with a packed lunch. We will arrive later in the afternoon and have an evening game-viewing drive for about two hours. After that, the driver will drive slowly to the tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay at Kon Tiki Serengeti Camp in the Serengeti Seronera Area.

Serengeti National Park is among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the most famous park in Africa. Its amazing attractions include the Annual Great Migration of zebra, wildebeest and antelopes, a sight only found in Serengeti. The Serengeti covers an area of about 15,000 square kilometres (5,800 square miles) of savannah, full of lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, buffalo, oribi and many other wild animals.

Day 3

After an early breakfast, you depart for a full day game drive to spot the famous Annual Great Migration of wildebeest. Depending on the time and season you visit the Serengeti, you will see the Big Five at close range. Later in the evening, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a comfortable overnight stay after the day's adventures.

Although Serengeti National Park is well-known for the Annual Great Migration, be ready to see resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions fulfilling their role in the circle of life.

Day 4

After breakfast, you will descend the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Once you finish the game drive, we will transfer you to Arusha or the airport.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the natural wonders of Africa. Inside the crater, you will explore the spectacular landscapes, relax in a new environment, and spot all of the Big Five (lions, buffalos, elephants, leopards and black rhinos). A variety of bird species, like flamingos, live close to the crater lakes. Be ready to see a huge variety of wild animals within a short time!
