Day 2

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

On this day, we suggest waking up early for breakfast at 6:30 am to enjoy a magical early morning game drive when animals are most active and the sunrise is truly unforgettable! After the game drive, we’ll head to the Ngorongoro Area. As you approach the crater, it feels like entering a forgotten world. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world’s most stunning wildlife havens, with steep volcanic walls, vast savannah, acacia woodlands, and sparkling streams. It's a great chance to spot the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard plus large flocks of flamingos. You might even spot a leopard resting on a sausage tree near the Seronera River! Later, we head to Simba Campsite for dinner and overnight. Optional: early morning hot air balloon safari or a visit to a traditional Maasai community.
