Transfer to Murchison falls and visit Ziwa en-route

Early in the morning after your breakfast, you will be transferred to Murchison falls national park with a scenic drive to the park and lunch en route. An en route visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking is highly rewarding. A 2 hours drive to the top of Murchison falls will make your highlight of this day. A remarkable sight and sound of the Nile crushing through a narrow gorge is one of the world wonders.

Day 3
Game drive and afternoon boat cruise
Game drive and afternoon boat cruise
Wake up for an early morning game drive anticipating to see a variety of animals like buffalos, elephants, lions and several antelope species. Later return to your lodge for breakfast and lunch and in the afternoon a boat cruise up to the bottom of the falls brings you closer to Hippos, crocodiles and a plethora of migratory birds along the banks of Albert Nile. Return to the lodge in the evening for an overnight stay.

In the morning transfer to Kibale forest National Park with a relaxed drive through the verdant country side enjoying views of the crop plantations like tea plantations and traditional homesteads and the rift valley escarpment. Reaching fort portal by lunch time and later proceed to lodge with the drive through craters regions.

After your breakfast, proceed to Kanyanchu for briefing from the park warden as you prepare for chimpanzee tracking. Other primates you expect to encounter in this tropical rainforest include the grey checked mangabeys, L’Hoest, red-tailed and the vervet monkeys. In the afternoon a nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary mainly for birds such as the beautiful blue turaco is worth undertaking.

After your breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. On arrival in the park, a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel is a big highlight of this park as this offers a big opportunity to see varieties of wildlife including migratory and Albertine endemic birds and mammals such as hippos, elephants, buffaloes and some antelope species among others.

On this day a morning game drive to the northern sector (Kasenyi) will offer you an opportunity to encounter cats including leopards and lions, if you are lucky. This trail is gifted with big herds of elephants, buffaloes and different antelope species. Later return to the lodge for breakfast as you grace for afternoon activities which could be a boat cruise, chimpanzee trekking in Karinju forest or Kyambura Gorge.

In the morning after a relaxed breakfast, set off for game Drives in
Ishasha sector in search of tree climbing lions. Depending on the day’s weather, you may be lucky to find lions near the road or enter deep in park in search for them. Proceed through the rolling beautiful hills of Kigezi to Bwindi national park.

You will head to the park headquarters after your breakfast with packed lunch to be briefed about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas then proceed to track the gorillas. On return, you will be driven back to your lodge and evening you may decide to visit the batwa community.

In the morning, you will transfer across the border of kyanika and later proceed to volcanoes with more interesting sceneries like many tea plantations, Musanze caves many hills as Rwanda is know to be Switzerland of Africa, on reaching you will reach intime and check into the booked lodge and enjoy the lodge facilities for the rest of the day.

In the morning, you will go for briefing at the park headquarters and then proceed to track golden monkeys. On return, transfer to Kigali reaching later afternoon or evening in calm town of Rwanda and do city drive before reaching the accommodation or drive to the hotel and take relaxation until dinner and overnight.

We leave for Akagera national park in the morning after your breakfast. The journey to the park is takes about 2 hours 30 minutes depending on the stopovers along the way. On arrival at the park, your driver will clear with the rangers at the gate and proceed tot he visitor centre for briefing after which you proceed to the hotel for check in or a game drive depending on your interest.
In the afternoon, you can choose to relax at your lodge. Alternatively you can choose to take a boat trip on Lake Ihema where you will watch out for Hippos, crocodiles and several animals coming to the park for watering.

Depending on your interest in animal viewing, you will decide how much time to spend on a game drive in the park. Arise early and leave after breakfast for a game drive in Akagera national park. The game drive on this wildlife tour will be in our custom made safari land cruiser that will allow you to have amazing view of the wildlife as your driver guide takes you through different tracks.
Look out for some of the big mammals like Elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Topi, Zebras, Impala. In the recent past they re-introduced Lions and Rhinos in the park but these are often difficult to sight but it could be your lucky day. The park is a varied habitat for wildlife and a birders haven with over 500 species in the park. The game drive will last about 6 hours or more depending on your interests.

Today after a relaxed breakfast, you will return to Kigali but through the park doing one last game drive. You can choose to do a later check out and drive directly to Kigali.
