Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

On day one of your safari to the Masai Mara National Reserve, you will be picked up from a Nairobi hotel, apartment, or airport early in the morning to begin your safari.

Your three-day Masai Mara tour begins early, with our professional driver/guide briefing you about your safari and welcoming you to board an exclusive safari 4x4 pop-up roof minivan vehicle.

Along the route, stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. From there, head straight to Narok Town, where we will stop for a few minutes for a last-minute shopping and bathroom break.

Then, head to Masai Mara National Reserve and check in at the camp. You will have time to enjoy lunch, relax, and head out for an afternoon game drive. The game drive will end at around 6:00pm. Head to the camp for dinner and a night's rest.

Masai Mara National Reserve

On day two, you will start the day with an early breakfast and head to the jungle to look for wildlife and the elusive Big Five (lions, leopards, buffalos, elephants and rhinos) of the Masai Mara. You will have covered a lot of ground by the time the sun gets hot, which will be the ideal time to enjoy a picnic lunch (extra charge) or lunch at the camp.

An afternoon game drive is ideal for climaxing your game viewing across the expansive reserve. Return to the camp, have dinner, and rest for the night.

Masai Mara is home to lions, giraffes, elephants, cheetahs, hippos, zebras, cheetahs, leopards, gazelles, and hyenas, among many others and different bird species.

Aa Lodge Mara offers a wide range of activities such as a nature trail, Masai dance, games, hot air balloon ride (extra charge), sundowners (extra charge), and bush breakfast/dinner (extra charge), among others.

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi

On day three, enjoy your breakfast, then depart on a road trip to Nairobi. The approximate arrival time in Nairobi is 4:00pm.

You will be dropped off at the airport or a hotel. This marks the end of your three-day safari of magical Kenya.
