1-Day Wildlife Safari at Lake Mburo National Park

At 6:30 a.m., you will depart from Protea Hotel Entebbe for Lake Mburo National Park in western Uganda. The journey takes 3-4 hours, including a layover near the Equator to experience both the northern and southern hemispheres at the same time. You will continue across savannah grasslands interspersed with towns, crops, and many herds of locally endemic long-horned Ankole cattle.

• Lake Mburo game drive and boat cruise
When you get to Lake Mburo National Park, you will go on a game drive in search of plain wildlife like zebra, hippos, crocodiles, eland, antelope, impala, and other birds. After lunch, you will embark on a 2-hour boat ride on Lake Mburo, which is home to a variety of aquatic creatures like as hippos and crocodiles, as well as various bird species.

You will return to Protea hotel Entebbe in the late afternoon.
