Nairobi/Samburu National Reserve

Pick up at the Airport early morning depending on your flight schedule or from your hotel within Nairobi at 0700hrs and drive north to Samburu National Reserve arriving at around 1400hrs in the for lunch and check in. After relaxation head out for an afternoon game drive in the park famous for it’s special ‘Five’ species that are adaptive to this region and they include; the Reticulated giraffe, the Grevy’s zebra, Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx and Somali Ostrich also other game animals include Elephant, lion, Leopard, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife with over 400 species with the rooftop of the car opened. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Simba Lodge.

After early breakfast embark on a long day game drive in the park where guests will depart with picnic lunch and get to see various Wide-open grass plains and, scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife with over 400 species with the rooftop of the car opened for great views and photography. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Samburu National Reserve/Nairobi

Optional morning drive for a chance to spot the early morning kill from the big five, after the drive return to the camp for the main breakfast, thereafter leave and head back to Nairobi which is an approximate 5/6 hrs with a stop over in Nanyuki for lunch. Arrive in Nairobi late afternoon with drop off to your hotel or at the Airport for your available flight back home.
