Your driver guide shall transfer you from your hotel in Entebbe and you embark on a journey to the Eastern part of this country. We shall have a stop over in the adventure capital of East Africa- Jinja CIty! Here, we shall have a boat cruise to the source of the longest river in the world, have lunch, then proceed to Kapchorwa District, the home of Sipi Falls. We shall check into our booked lodge and over night stay.

Day 3

After our breakfast in the morning, we head out to visit the popular Sipi Falls. First, we shall abseil Sipi Falls, where we are lowered down the falls on a rope. This is a breathtaking experience for the strong, Conquer those fears my friend. After, we shall hike all the three falls, have lunch, and return for a coffee tour where we shall learn how to process the tasty arabica coffee grown in these hills. We shall end the day with a sunset rest, and overnight stay.

This day, you will wake up after an early morning breakfast to an early morning game drive in the wilderness of this park. Look out for buffalos, zebras, elephants, antelopes and lions, The sweet cheetah can also be spotted if you're lucky. You will then return to the lodge for lunch as you prepare for an evening community tour to learn about the different norms and cultures of the Karamojong people. We shall return to the lodge for an over night stay.

We set out for an early morning game drive where we shall have a chance to see the wildlife in the wilderness, Look out for buffalos, elephants, leopards, lions, crocks and various birds. We shall then have a launch cruise to the bottom of the falls and a hike to the top of the Murchison falls. We shall return to the lodge and overnight stay.

With packed lunch, we shall head out to the gate of the forest to be briefed by UWA rangers about the do's and donts of this activity. We shall then proceed to the forest in search of these creatures and spend some time with them. You can take as many pictures as you like. You shall then head out for a Bigodi Swamp nature walk and enjoy the norms and cultures of this place.

You depart from Queen Elizabeth, taking a chance to set eyes on the tree climbing lions of Ishasha. You cross stunning landscapes to reach Bwindi National Park, where you will seek out another rare creature, the Mountain Gorilla, a very endangered specie that should be on your bucket list to see.

Mountain Gorilla Tracking

After breakfast, you set out for a briefing at the park offices where we are allocated gorilla tracking groups and given tips in preparation for a close encounter with the gorillas. Guided by an experienced tracker, you brave a challenging trek through Bwindi Impenetrable Forest; it may take minutes or hours of pushing through vegetation before we set our eyes on a dominant silverback male and his group. Upon return from the deep forest, you will receive your gorilla tracking certificate, and later, after refreshing at the lodge, set out for a community walk, a charming experience with the local people and a closer look into their culture.

With giraffes, zebras, buffalos and very many birds in place, Lake Mburo National Park gives you the opportunity to take a walking safari in the park, guided by an armed ranger. You get the chance to come in close proximity with game on your foot.
