Day 1

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

Our proficient tour driver-guide will meet you in Arusha town and provide a concise safari briefing. Then, equipped with a picnic lunch, we'll journey 90 minutes to Lake Manyara National Park for a comprehensive day of game viewing. Lunch will be enjoyed within the park, followed by continued exploration until the late evening when we retire to our camp.

This remarkable park holds a striking position within Tanzania, with a significant yet shallow soda lake spanning two-thirds of its expanse, nestled at the base of the western escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. The park's diverse landscapes attract a wide array of animals, including one of Africa's largest congregations of elephants and the renowned tree-climbing lions of Manyara.

The lake's algae-rich waters also entice substantial gatherings of flamingos. You'll have dinner and spend the night at Panorama Camp.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

Today after a delicious breakfast you will be picked up by your guide to Tarangire National Park spans nearly 3000 square kilometers and is renowned for its abundant elephant populations and iconic baobab trees. The park derives its name from the Tarangire River, which meanders through its terrain.

Tarangire truly dazzles, especially during the dry season (from June to November), when wildlife congregations rival those of the Serengeti.

This is because vast herds of elephants and other animals are drawn to the Tarangire River, their sole source of water. With its diverse ecosystems and the perennial flow of the Tarangire River, the park is home to more than 2000 elephants and boasts a staggering 500 species of birds. This will mark the end of your tour, then you will be back to Arusha.
