Embark on a journey to Grassland Safari lodge. The whole journey will be 5 hours to the Kalahari.
his privately owned lodge borders the mighty Central Kalahari Game Reserve On the west. For the search of the big five we will start your tour here to tickle your safari journey by presenting the most rare of the big five being the Rhino. The Grassland Safari lodge is home to the rhinos and some desert adapted antelopes like the mighty Eland antelope, Springboks, Kudus, Gemsbok and other small mammals like jackals and honey badgers. It is here where you will have your first encounter with the first people of the Kalahari or the San/Khoi people or known as Bushmen in other areas. Apart from wildlife sightings you will have the chance to do Guided bush walk with the San where they will share their vast knowledge of the area, basic tracking, uses of some plant species for medicine as well as lectures on survival skills in the Kalahari.

Explore Central Kalahari Game Reserve

On this day you will explore the Kalahari Grassland reserve.
# Wake up early for morning coffee, tea, Juice, cereals and fruits
# Start a 2 to 3 hours guided walk with the San people
# The major topics to be covered on this walk will be about survival in the Kalahari Desert, the use of natural resources founfnd in the ares for different purposes on a day to day life of the first people of the Kalahari
#You will also be tour on how to conserve water in this dry place as well as what other natural resources can be used and how to retain or hydrate the body
# As Bushmen are good hunters and gatherers you will also be given basic animal tracking and hunting skills.
# Lastly you will be taught about the history of the people, traditional healing of some certain diseases, injuries and snake bites and well as how to interpret the environment around you to foretell upcoming climatic changes.
Breakfast, Lunch and dinner will be served in the lodge.

On this final day you will wake up early in the morning for Coffee, tea, Juice, cereals and fruits.

Day 4

Travel back to Maun

Travel back to Maun

You will wake up for a full breakfast then say your goodbye to the Grassland team before embarking on 5 hours drive back to Maun.
We will stop along the way for packed lunch and o arrival in Maun you will be taken to the shops to buy personal supplies then you will be taken to the lodge to freshen up and hang around until dinner time.
After dinner you will have enough time to charge your phones, cameras and any other electronics in preparation for next day adventure.

Day 5

Explore the Okavango delta

Explore the Okavango delta

On this day you will wake up early u the morning for full breakfast before starting a 5 hours slow drive to Khwai concession.
The first 30 Km will be on a tarmac road while the rest will be on dirt road through wildlife Management areas. As you drive along be on the look out for herds of elephants crossing the road or peacefully feeding on the sides of the road. On this drive you might see few species before reaching your camp and among the animals you might see on the way will be giraffes, Impalas, kudus and other species
You will be served packed Lunch on the way.
On arrival in Khwai you will be taken to your camp. Our Tents offers the best of both worlds. It is glamping at its finest. Our tents are designed to sustainability in mind, so you can enjoy your vacation without sacrificing the environment.

Day 6

Explore Khwai Community Concession

Explore Khwai Community Concession

This community concession borders Moremi and is also situated on the Eastern fringes of the famous Okavango Delta. Khwai is home to large packs of wild dogs and large herds of elephants and buffaloes. It has beautiful waterways and lagoons with a rich diversity of both aquatic and semi-aquatic species. It is here that you will explore the Okavango Delta in a traditional mokoro (dug-out canoe) with a local guide.
Expectations is to see some of the big five to add on your list with the possibility of seeing elephants, Buffaloes, lions and the elusive Leopard in this area if mother nature responds well to our quest.

Day 7

Experience Savuti

Experience Savuti

Famously known as a predator paradise, Savuti is a remote reserve situated on the Western side of Chobe National Park. It is here that elephants were recorded hunting elephants and hyenas were seen chasing lions from their kill, hence the nickname "predator paradise". The successful predator population here keeps attracting tourists back to Savuti. Savuti is the home of the famous short-tailed male lion called Skoti. This reserve is geographically unique as well as in its species diversity.

Wake up for an early breakfast before you embark on the 2-hour drive from Khwai to Savuti gate. Upon entering the reserve, do a slow game drive across the reserve to our designated wilderness camping site. Have a stopover for a packed lunch in the reserve whereafter you drive to the camp. Settle in and freshen up before going for a short afternoon drive. You will be served dinner at the camp and can then sit around the fire and chat with our team or go to bed.

Experience Savuti

Experience Savuti

Today you will visit some other parts of the reserve to maximize your experience of Savuti.

Wake up early for coffee, tea, juice, cereals and fruits. Go for a 3 to 4-hour morning game drive to explore other parts of the reserve, depending on the sightings. Return to the camp for breakfast whereafter you can sit in the shade to read or take a nap in your tent. After lunch in the camp, you have time to relax before you head out on the afternoon sunset drive. Return for dinner in the camp and then sit around the fire or retire for the night.
On this camping night like any other you will sleep on a luxury Sahara tent 6mx2.9mx2.5m.

Day 9

Explore Chobe National Park

Explore Chobe National Park

Chobe National Park is home to the largest elephant population in the world. The Chobe River is the ideal place to experience these large herds of elephants as they are observed there each afternoon or evening. Masses of families come to drink and take a shower to cool off after a long day of very high temperatures.

After 4 nights of wilderness camping, you will now stay in comfortable mid-range accommodation and do your activities from here.

Wake up for an early breakfast and start your journey from Savuti to Kasane. Have a stopover for your packed lunch at Kachikau village. Do the final drive through Chobe National Park to Kasane. You will drive through the chobe National Park riverfront area to Sedudu exit point.
After exiting the park gate, you will drive less than 15 minutes to your accommodation. Freshen up on arrival and do a short sundowner drive in Kasane. Dinner will be served at the lodge whereafter you can retire for the night.

Chobe is home to the highest elephant population in the World and to see herds and herds of these peaceful gaints raoming the reserve is a dream come true to a lot of people especially those who dream to see the big 5.
# Wake up in the morning for Coffee, tea, Juice, cereals and fruits
# Start a 3 hours game drive along the famous Chobe riverfront
# The expectation is to see variety of bird life along the river as well as other animals like elephants, hippos, Kudus, Impalas, Giraffes and on a good day lions and leopards.
# Come back to the lodge for full breakfast
# Relax for the day until lunch
# at Around 1530hrs we drive to the jetty for the Sundowner boat cruise
