3-Day Bwindi Gorillas and Batwa Community Experience

Entebbe to Bwindi NP

After breakfast, you will start on your journey from Entebbe and head to Bwindi National Park in southwestern Uganda, the home of the gorillas. We will have a brief stopover for a game drive in Lake Mburo National Park to view zebras, giraffes and antelopes, and thereafter, a lunch stop at the Igongo Cultural Center. This journey will lead you into beautiful landscapes, sprawling hills and unique flora and fauna. We will arrive at the lodge in the evening.

Gorilla Trekking

After breakfast, we will report to the Bwindi Park Office where we will be briefed on the gorilla trekking activity. Soon after, you will embark on your trek which takes about 4 hours, depending on the last spot where the gorillas slept. In the afternoon you will return to the lodge for lunch. Afterward, visit the Batwa community that where inhabiting the forest before the park was gazetted.
