Nairobi-Masai Mara National Reserve

Your driver-guide will report to your city hotel and pick you for a start of the safari, with a departure for a picturesque drive descending the Great Rift Valley and onwards to Masai Mara, Kenya's famous game reserve. Stop briefly en route at the Great Rift Valley view point to enjoy the stunning views of an enormous valley system said to be visible from the outer space. Arrive in your accommodation in time for lunch. After lunch you will have an afternoon game drive which will allow spotting of the magnificent wildlife in the park. The reserve is known for providing excellent predator sightings thanks to its relatively large population of lion, cheetah and leopard. Bordering Tanzania, the Mara is in the northern extension of Serengeti and forms a wildlife corridor between the two countries. You'll return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Explore The Famous Mara

Morning game drive or opt for hot air balloon ride(extra cost) before breakfast and late afternoon game drive. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals as they are most active. To get some of the best game viewing of the day, an early start is needed to beat the heat of the sun. This is the time that the big cats are most active and can provide some of the most dramatic photography, thanks to the beautiful lighting. Although it might be tempting to stay in bed and wait until the afternoon to explore. Opt to visit maasai village(extra cost), meet these indigenous people and see up close their ancient lifestyle and culture. Return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
