3-Day Into Masai Mara the Luxury Way

Nairobi-Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll be picked up from the airport or Nairobi hotel and proceed to the Wilson Airport for your flight to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at Mara Bush Camp. The next two days shall be spent wildlife viewing, either in the early morning hours or in the evening, as this is when we have the best chances of seeing animals. You'll enjoy your afternoon game drive. On clear days, the Masai Mara offers orange-tinted sunsets. You will want to capture this moment while at your camp. Wherever you go in the Mara, you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, impala, and wildebeest. Elephants, buffalo, zebras, and hippos also exist in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a meal or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but are still reasonably common. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Full-day in Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be taken on two game drives today, in the morning before breakfast and in the late afternoon. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best times to spot animals as they are most active. To get some of the best game viewing of the day, an early start is needed to beat the heat of the sun. This is an experience that will surely create lifetime memories. The reserve is famous for the great migration of wild beasts. To bring more texture to your experience at the Mara, you may want to take advantage of several optional events we offer at an extra cost. You'll experience a visit to the local Maasai people in their nearby village. Meet these indigenous people and see their ancient lifestyle and culture. You'll take a pre-dawn hot air balloon ride high above the reserve as the morning light breaks across the golden savannah and witness the herds of wildlife emerging into the day.

Masai Mara- Nairobi

Being your last day at the Mara, you can either choose to go for an early morning balloon trip at an extra cost which is a very outstanding way of seeing the savannah plains and the wildlife after which you come back down for a beautiful breakfast alternatively you could opt for an early morning game drive before being transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi.
